Air China is upgrading the Business Class cabins of its 16 Airbus A330-200s.
The Business Class cabin revamp includes upgrading each seat to a 180-degree, fully lie-flat bed and improving the in-flight entertainment system at each seat.
Its Airbus A330-200 Business Class renovation forms part of Air China’s long-term upgrade program, in which the carrier aims to improve the quality of the in-flight service its passengers receive.
Air China is China’s only national flag carrier and is a Star Alliance member. In addition to commercial services, it also operates special flights for the country’s state leaders on official visit to other countries.
Using a fleet of 290 Airbus and Boeing aircraft (including 280 passenger airliners and 10 freighters), one training aircraft and six business jets, Air China operates 276 routes. Of these, 69 are international, 14 are regional, and 193 are domestic.
The carrier serves a total of 137 cities (43 international, four regional and 90 domestic) in 30 countries and regions.
Air China offers more than 6,900 flights and over 1.1 million seats every week. As a result of its membership in the Star Alliance, Air China has access to a global route network through its Beijing hub of 1,160 destinations in 181 countries.
