The Boeing 787 Dreamliner touched down for the first time in Singapore at 2.21pm on Saturday.
It is slated to be one of the crowd-pullers at the biggest-ever Singapore Airshow at the Changi Exhibition Centre from Feb 14 to 19.
All Nippon Airways is currently the only operator of the aircraft.
Singapore Airlines has ordered 20 Dreamliners.
Other airlines such as Japan Airlines and Air France-KLM have also placed bookings for the plane which does battle with Airbus' A380.
The Dreamliner, which consumes 20 per cent less fuel than today's similar-size rivals, can carry up to 290 passengers.
