SINGAPORE – Cebu Air, Inc. (CEB.PH), the Philippine budget carrier that recently announced plans to start long-haul flights using leased Airbus A330-300 aircraft, has decided to power those jets with engines from Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC (RR.LN).
Rolls-Royce will also provide long-term service support for the Trent 700 engines in a contract valued at US$280 million, Cebu Air, which is better known as Cebu Pacific, said in a statement in Singapore.
