AirAsia has upped frequency on its Kuala Lumpur to Palembang route, from three weekly flights to daily services.
Flight AK1302 will depart the Malaysian capital at 1655 and arrive in Palembang, Indonesia, at 1725 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The AK1303 return service departs Sumatra at 1755 and lands at 2020.
AirAsia Regional Head of Commercial, Kathleen Tan said; “The launch of the additional flight frequencies further reflect our commitment to grow tourism across the ASEAN region and help spur economic growth. We will continue to aggressively promote the region of Sumatra, where Palembang is located, as a top tourism destination in Indonesia.”
