Warsaw, December 21, 2012 – The second LOT Dreamliner with the registration number SP – LRB
 took off today at 5:36 am (Warsaw time) from Paine Field airport and 
now it is leaving the territory of Canada. Dreamliner is planned to land
 in Warsaw Chopin Airport around 15:30 (Warsaw time). It is the second 
Boeing 787 Dreamliner to join the fleet of the Polish national carrier 
this year.
The aircraft is flying directly from the Paine Field airport placed just next to the factory in Everett, near Seattle, where Boeings 787 Dreamliners are being produced.
According to the plans, the second Dreamliner belonging to LOT will start to operate the long-haul routes in February 2013.
Boeing 787 SP – LRB is a long-range aircraft (12 000 km) with a maximum speed of 875 kph, 57,72 m long with a wing span of 60,13 m. Its passenger cabin has seats for 252 passengers.
The first of ordered Dreamliners was delivered to LOT in November this year. Until the end of March 2013 there will be five Boeing 787 in the fleet of Polish carrier.
